The San Antonio Spurs won their second ever ABC Hoops championship with a 120 to 100 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
This was not the game experts expected other than the Spurs once again dominated the Cavs at home. Only a few of the Cavs players produced offensively against the Spurs strong defnese. Conley had an excellent ball game and his shooting was key during the 2nd and when the Cavs fought hard to get back in the game. Thompson was in foul trouble off and on and it showed in his offensive contribution of only 13 points. C Anthony and M Gortat did the best they could against A Davis and DeAndre Jordan inside but they could not stop the size and power. Anthony Davis was the MVP of this game and I think he shared the series MVP Award with DeMar DeRozen who had another monster game with 30 points. Many had hoped the series would go 7 games and have the Spurs win game 7 on the Cavs home court.
